This book was invaluable for our holiday! There is hardly anything about Khao Lak in normal guide books, but the author has travelled there for 30 years and shares all his knowledge and experience. His insider tips are brilliant. We visited quiet viewpoints, little known waterfalls, as well as discovering villages and so much more. Having this book really enriched our holiday. There are GPS Co-ordinates for each place too, so we could find them with Google maps. I’m so pleased I found this book as it made our holiday even more special. Thank you to the author!

Having just returned from 2 weeks in beautiful Khao Lak, this proved to be an accurate and up to date guide book on an area which does not feature as much in the general/broader Thailand travel guides.
The advice and information was spot on! I read it cover to cover before we left, having not been to Thailand before – it was extremely helpful, informative and educational, as well as helping us consider our time there in advance. We referred to it lots once there too, to help personalise trips and visits and plan in as much as we could.
I really liked the concise style – clearly written by an experienced traveller, who knows the area well.
